Founded by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, this great celebration focuses on the importance of making healthy food choices and developing a plan to stay on track with eating and physical activity.
This year’s National Nutrition Month theme is “Bite into a Healthy Lifestyle”. This theme encourages you to adopt eating and physical activity plans focused on making sound and informative eating choices. It also encourages getting daily exercise to maintain a healthy weight and reduces the risk of chronic disease. National Nutrition Month is also to spread awareness of the importance of nutrition and promote overall good health.
