Our Story
University Family Medicine Center Pueblo was created with patients’ needs in mind in 1987 by Saint Mary Corwin residents looking to expand their services in Southern Colorado. Our mission has always been to provide our patients with a high level of family medical care that enhances their day-to-day life through preventive action plans. We view our patient care practice as a partnership and we encourage our patients to have an active voice in their medical needs.
Our practice has continued to grow both in services and providers due to our shared values and interest in thriving Southern Colorado communities. UFMC is an active member of the Pueblo business community, but proudly serves all residents of Southern Colorado including Pueblo, Pueblo West, the Arkansas Valley, Colorado City and Rye.
We are an independent medical facility with local ownership. The key to our patient’s prospering health is proactive preventative medicine. We believe in restoring your immune system and creating a life plan of balanced weight and exercise in order to keep illness and disease at bay.
